Congratulations to the PHS Class of 2013 Top Ten! James Keiler, Emanuel Keiler, Rebecca Mauri, Reiham Barmo, Stephanie Aguilera, Melanie Morenz, Margaret Balogh, Vincenza DiDomenico, James Rolstone, and Evan Siebert. These students will be honored at the Project Excel Top Ten Banquet on May 31st at the Aqua Turf.

MERIDEN — A Platt High School 10th-grader won the logo contest for the 35th anniversary Daffodil Festival T-shirt.
Noelia Rodriguez, 16, originally from Harlem, N.Y., moved to Meriden in September and is enrolled in art classes at Platt. When the design contest was announced, Rodriguez decided to use it to practice her drawing.
