Good morning 9th-grade families and students!
Chromebooks will be distributed starting next
Tuesday, August 23 from 9:00-12:00 in the Grand Staircase (back lobby) at Platt. The distribution schedule will be according to the first letter of your last name and will be as follows:
Tuesday, August 23, 9:00-12:00: Students with last names starting with A-L
Thursday, August 25, 9:00-12:00: Students with last names starting M-Z
Friday, August 26, 9:00-12:00: Any remaining 9th-graders, plus any students who are new to Platt High School
Anyone who was not able to get their Chromebook on these dates can make an appointment with the main office to do so after the 26th.
All students who receive a device are required to have a signed Device Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy. We also offer an Optional Device Protection Plan. These forms, as well as payment for the Device Protection Plan, can be completed electronically. You are going to receive a separate ParentSquare post with these forms. We will also have hard copies available here at Platt.
All 9th-graders are also required to complete the Net Literacy course. Students can access this by clicking
here. A computer lab will be open for students to complete the Net Literacy course if they did not do so prior to coming to the building.
While we will have ample staff to assist with this process, students and families should anticipate lines as we have over 300 students enrolled in the class of 2026.
